So now as Christmas is drawing near, it’s time for some last minute preparation. Some would probably be rushing with decorations, parties.. while some would probably be busy searching for gifts. As you know, I deal with fashion and I blog about fashion. Therefore, the chances of me introducing gifts not related to fashion is quite impossible. Typically, the Christmas gifts would be – photo frames, chocolates, candies, toys, etc.
If you are staying in the states or anywhere near there, you’d probably buy things like the ones below:
Most Asian countries do not need things like leg warmers. Furthermore, most Asian countries do not bring in some really nice chocolates like SEE’S brand too. So, in order to get something unique for your friends, family and loved ones, some really nice apparels and accessories would do just great.
I’d really be glad to introduce many american brands to you. But it wouldn’t be an ideal one now since Christmas is just few days ahead. Of course, I’d then introduce you the fatest way to get a right and suitable one for Christmas. That’d be VAG’s fashion wear.

I happened to chance upon this video. Which I find the skinny jeans that he recommended sounds really awesome. It’s high waisted and fits perfectly. Well, do read my post about high waisted bottoms that are so in trend now (click here!)

Just like the above image said, “Hats off to the stars who’ve made fedoras the latest fashion must-have.”
I wasn’t so into fedoras in the past, in fact, I wasn’t even interested. It was not even under my “fashion list”. I was just like any (or rather most people), that, I was rather conservative in fashion wearing. I’d be thinking that fedoras is not something that Singaporeans would wear, so if I do wear it out to town, won’t be people all be laughing at me?
Well, you see.. the main point is, why care about how people judge you? I’m starting to think if I should start owning one of those fedoras. Look at how gorgeous the celebrities are!

So what if the trend now could be monochrome colors, tights, leggings, etc? Why not try something a little different from what others are wearing? It’s all about whether you DARE or you don’t. It’s simple. If you could wear something that’s out of trend, you’re as good as setting a trend! Reason being? So what if what you are wearing now might be out of trend? You would probably see it 2 years later. People would probably all wear the same as you do. Till then, you’d probably be crowned as the “Ms. Singapore Trend Setter” or whatever (replace the Singapore with your own country, lol).
DO try as many apparels, accessories as you want. Be daring enough to mix and match. What people see now as “old-fashion” could be the real fashion thing in 2 years time. You won’t know unless you tried!
What about this?
I doubt you like it! It’s probably one of the less appealing apparels. But think about it – when you thought that some apparels are old fashion, have you wonder that, it is possible that after few years later, people are all wearing something like this which you think now is the “poor-judgement-of-fashion”?
Take this for a good example:
High waisted bottoms are one of the “DON’T” fashion wear in the past recent years. Have you notice that people are gradually wearing them now, again? Look at Posh (Victoria Beckham), she is just one of the many celebrities that is wearing such bottoms now. Don’t you think it looks great? Especially when she paired it up with a black belt? It’s simple yet gorgeous!
You need not be a celebrity to be the “trend setter”. You can be, anytime, anywhere you want it! The key to such “success is, be CONFIDENT.
Have fun trying out new apparels from now!

So I reckon that you readers would probably know that one of the latest trends now is to pair your tops with tights/leggings and it’d look as glamorous as you want it to be? In order to look “ready” and suitable in special parties or events, you no longer need a elegant dress! Tights/leggings are just as suitable! Leggings, tights and stockings are one of the most versatile trends that can take you from autumn and winter and into spring. This versatility is what makes this trend suitable for everyone.
Look at this image above. A black crochet leggings are great enough for evening parties or some special events. It has the fine details and shows off the great contour of your legs. Try google “black crochet leggings” and am pretty sure you’d be able to find such lovely leggings available in many online stores.
How about some special tulips design like this one? Sweet pinkish design is probably one of the favorites for the ladies. I would say that if you would like to be the trend setter or be uniquely different from what others are wearing but still staying in trend, wearing something like this would be perfect. If you like something more casual, imagine going this with a plain colored top? It’d look awesome. Oh wait, not pink again though!
If you prefer something simple yet outstanding, choose similar tights like the above. It comes with different monotone color, but the color is simply gorgeous.
Looking at the fabulous ways of wearing different tights/leggings, what about something special for your wedding? If you like some lacy details for your wedding gown, you’d probably love this thigh highs.
